Early life

Cyril (co-annoyance, friend, sort-of-employer)

Initially worried that his magic reacted to emotions, but eventually determined that it only lashes out during extreme negative emotions.
- Despite initially identifying himself as a magic user, and seeking Meric to help him gain control of his magic, it is ultimately impossible. His magic is not consciously manipulable, any moreso than emotions are; it functions as a personal negativity miasma.
Has never met Meric, but has a healthy secondhand detestation of him.
