Brillian
Brillian1[BRILL·ee·ann] is the variant of Cithhur that originated in Brilliance and spread to the surrounding settlements.2It remains the primary dialect of northwest Eluthisura and the diaspora thereof. The dialect is characterized by a careful overenunciation of syllables and a tendency to keep certain sounds towards the back of the throat.
The classification of Brillian as a dialect distinct from Cithhur only occurred toward the end of the nineteenth century. Previously, speakers of Brillian maintained that it was the ‘original’3Or ‘correct.’ version of Cithhur; only the discovery of a Cithhur text in the northern ruins provided conclusive proof of sufficient linguistic drift.
