Haspen are long-necked birdlike creatures that are believed to fill the evolutionary niche between geese and whelfrinks. The natural environment of a haspen is a high plateau area; thus, they are common both in the Elven Playground and most cities with tall buildings. Subspecies of haspen include the sill-haspen.
